Michelle Robbins is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who joined Downtown Women OBGYN in June 2017. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Ohio State University and her Bachelor of Nursing from Georgetown University. Following Michelle earned her Master’s in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from New York University in 2017. Michelle’s prior experience includes five years at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center and NYU Langone Medical Center working as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum and Postpartum units.
Since 2016 Michelle has also served as a part-time adjunct clinical professor at New York University providing nursing students with hands-on experience in New York City hospitals. Michelle is certified lactation counselor and is also a member of The National League of Nurses and The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. At Downtown Women OBGYN, Michelle provides routine gynecological care, contraceptive counseling, diagnosis and treatment of STDs and vaginal infections, as well as management of basic gynecologic disorders.
