Debra Barny, Chief Financial Officer and Practice Administrator at Downtown Women, first joined Drs. Kolton and Storch in 1984 as a part-time accountant after leaving the corporate world. Her role and responsibilities have greatly expanded over the past three decades, keeping pace with the changes in medical practice administration, technology and finance. She is our “go to” person, and is relied upon and respected by staff and practitioners to keep Downtown Women OB/GYN running smoothly. She has degrees in Business Administration and Accounting.
Debra is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and a member of the American Association of University Women. She is also a Certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor. When not at Downtown Women, Debra enjoys gardening, playing classical piano, and caring for rescued animals.
