She completed medical school at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon; residency at Mount Sinai West/Morningside; and fellowship in Complex Family Planning at the University of California-San Francisco. Dr. Kinsey was drawn to this field because she is passionate about people having autonomy over their bodies and the freedom of reproductive choice. Dr. Kinsey has founded sustainable philanthropies to serve communities in rural Bolivia and Mexico; published research on the landscape of abortion in the US after the Dobbs decision; been quoted as a subject matter expert in gynecology in TIME and HuffPo; and lobbied on legislation pertaining to reproductive healthcare. Dr. Kinsey has a genuine love and appreciation for the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology and feels that there is no greater honor than being able to help you in your journey to form the family you desire. She feels strongly about ensuring your values are heard and healthcare goals are met. She offers multimodal pain control for procedures and cares that her patients are comfortable every step of the way. She is trained in deep Nexplanon removals and complex IUD removals.
She plans to continue to remain involved in research, advocacy, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives that are centered upon elevating the needs of our patient communities with an eye towards reducing reproductive inequities. In her spare time, she loves traveling and spending time with her husband and two cats.
